Band

Founded by guitarist Marko Pavic flanked with Aleks Ferrara on bass and Lorenzo Antonelli keyboards, PAVIC released the debut "Taste Some Liberty" in late 2005. The album, distributed throughout Europe, was well acclaimed in Italy and other countries by the critics who exalted the artist's songwriting and Marko's skill not to lapse into a boring technicality encouraging listening to the songs. The debut was enriched by the presence of outstanding musicians such as Kee Marcello (Europe, guitar), Tony Franklin (Blue Murder, Whitesnake, bass), Vitalij Kuprij (Ring Of Fire, keyboards) and Daniel Flores (Mind’s Eye, drums).
In 2008, PAVIC were back with “Unconditioned”, the band's second release. “Unconditioned” was mixed by producer Tobias Lindell at Bohus Sound Studio (Abba, Status Quo) Sweden and mastered by Dragan Tanaskovic (Evergrey, Meshuggah, In Flames, Goran Edman). Guest appearances included guitarist Kee Marcello (Europe) on the track "Just Go On". This release was exploring new musical directions for PAVIC as it offered a mix between classic and modern Rock/Metal.
In 2010 the band parted ways with vocalist Chris Catena. The search for a new singer led to a temporary break and band members got involved in different studio and live projects.
The band's sound evolved further, and then they found vocalist Joe Calabro, the perfect fit for the new songs the band was working on with a renewed line-up which also included Antonio Aronne on drums in late 2012. The fresh and modern sound of the brand new album “Is War The Answer?” (released in january 2014) required a different sonic approach, so the renowned American producer Rick Beato (Shinedown, Fozzy, Ingram Hill) was brought in to mix the songs. Rick’s work on the ten tracks, which include a cover version of the Duran Duran hit single “Notorious”, lived up to his reputation as a whiz behind the mixing desk. Comic book author Roberto Recchioni (the author of Dylan Dog), wrote the story for the video for the track "In Your Eyes".
The same year the band played the Rock In Idro festival in Bologna, Italy with Iron Maiden, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Opeth among others. Recently Pavic played the sold out venue in Ukraine with Within Temptation.
